# Can we accept payments in several installments?

|| A payment in 3 installments is equivalent to a monthly subscription with an expiration date after 3 periods.


| To set up a payment in several installments, simply create a subscription that expires after a given number of periods (in how many times the payment will be made) and whose sum of the amounts to be paid at each occurrence is equal to the total price of the product.

For example, for a payment of 900$ incl. tax in 3 instalments over 3 months, all you need to do is create a subscription with the following parameters:
* **Price:** €300 incl. VAT
* **Frequency:** Billed every 1 month
* **Expiration:** Expires after 3 periods of 1 month

|| As with a traditional subscription, you can choose the payment frequency according to your needs: weekly, biweekly, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, etc.
