# How to configure your subscriptions suspension rules?

| Establish your own subscriptions suspension rules.

By default, the rules for suspending your customers' subscriptions are as follows. Your customer's subscription will be suspended if:
* this customer has had an unpaid invoice for more than one period.

You can define:
* the number of days an invoice can remain unpaid before the subscription is suspended. 
* the total amount a customer may have in arrears before their subscription is suspended.
