A promo code is a code that gives a discount on an order when used.

Promo codes offer discounts in percentage or in amount.

There are 2 steps to create a promo code :

Create a discount.
Create a promo code from this discount.

1. How to create a discount

To create a discount:
Go to: Marketing // Discount.
Click on the "New discount" button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Configure the discount.
Save.

2. How to create a promo code?

Once the discount has been created, you can create a promo code that will allow customers to benefit from the discount when they use it at checkout.

To create a promo code:
Click on the concerned discount in the list of discounts in: Marketing // Discount
Click on "Add a promo code".
Set up the promo code.
Save.

Once the promo code has been created, simply share the code with your customers so that they can use it.

How to use a coupon?

Once the coupon is created, simply share its code with your customers.

To use it, your customers just have to enter the code in the dedicated field to this purpose when ordering.



Make sure that coupons use is enabled in your account in: E-commerce // Settings // Options.

If the option is disabled, the coupon field will be missing from your product pages.
