In this article we will see how it is possible to suspend a subscription for a given period.

The renewal of the subscription is fixed at the anniversary date of the subscription.
Example: For a monthly subscription subscribed on March 15, 2019, the first renewal will take place on April 15, 2019.

On the anniversary date of the subscription:
the subscription is renewed: the amount of the subscription is added to the customer's balance.
the customer is invoiced: the amount of the balance is invoiced.

When a subscription is renewed, the amount of the subscription is added to the customer's balance.

Billing date

On the billing date, the customer is invoiced the amount of his balance. 

How to suspend a subscription?

To suspend a subscription, simply change the renewal date of the subscription.

Imagine that it is July, your customer's subscription must be renewed on August 5th but you wish to suspend it and restart it in September: all you have to do is to shift the renewal date to September 5th. 

If the customer's balance is 0€ on the invoice date, the invoice will not be produced.




No invoice will be created if your customer's balance is empty at the billing date.
